more motorcycle stuff

alright so i just did an eight hour motorcycle class today. It was the 'motorcycle safety foundation course' where you bring your own bike and ride the obstacle course and such. well i passed with only one missed point (yay!)... but that's not where the funny part comes in. The best part of my day was seeing half the people in my class dropping their bikes and getting pissed off. One guy showed up with an 'electro glide' (i think). well this is like a 700 and something pound bike... that isn't designed for an obstacle course. After he dropped the bike, it was so heavy that he couldn't even pick it up by himself. Before class he was showing everyone how cool his CD player was and bla bla bla. But when his brand new bike was laying on it's side dripping gas all over the place i just kinda laughed and thought, "wow, sweet CD player... oh wait, no. that's stupid and so is your 700 pound bike that can't make a u-turn." Ok maybe this really isn't a good story, but i haven't blogged in a while, and i just wanted to document in writing how much i hate huge cruiser bikes. If i ever sell my sport bike for a cruiser, will somebody please beat me up. thanks guys... i always knew you were there for me : )

p.s. ok so i guess this rather offensive blog was provoked because one of the guys in the class was like, "what? you ride a 500cc ninja? my daughter has that bike (insert a heavy smoker-harley-rider's laugh here)." At the time i just said "haha, yeah i ride a girl's bike." but what i wanted to say was "ok so i can't play music through the rediculous surround sound speakers on my bike... and i may have have half the horsepower you do, but my bike is still faster and turns better than your mini-van, oh i mean 'cruiser'." Well i'm not normally one to say things like this (which is why i didn't). but seeing him drop his bike right after all that trash talk... well that was pretty sweet
